We will take photos of you with your cap and gown on, without, just the cords, just the cap, and more, so you have options!

Please Keep in Mind
See the top three tips prior to our cap and gown session to remember!

01

Steam your cap and gown!

This is your and your parents' opportunity to have professional photos of your final chapter at Hoover High School, so you don't want to have wrinkles in your gown when you do it! "Steaming is an effective way to remove wrinkles from a graduation gown, especially if it's made of polyester or other synthetic fabrics. You can use a steamer, or even your bathroom shower by hanging the gown and turning on the hot water to create steam."

02

Remember all of your cords, stoles, and medals!

Remember to bring all of your cords, stoles, and medals to your cap and gown session! You want to show off to your Instagram friends, and your parents want to brag on Facebook, remember your cords!!

03

What to Wear

The best rule of thumb is to wear what you will wear on graduation day. For girls, that is usually a white dress, and for guys, that is usually a nice dress shirt and pants.

Please show up to your cap and gown session with your CAP OFF! I like to get a few shots without your cap on, and it messes with your hair! Once you put your cap on, it'll stay on for the remainder of the session!

HAVE FUN! Cap and Gown Sessions are arguably my favorite sessions I offer each year. It's your last hurrah and the closure of the final chapter of your high school career. Please have fun!
